Marit Piirman, MBA
Lecturer and researcher at the University of Tartu Pärnu College, PhD student of human geography at the University of Tartu. She has worked in the private sector in USA, Greece and Estonia and started her academic journey from 2016. Her main research interests are humour (in tourism), film induced tourism and destination marketing, but she has participated in several big research projects on other topics (“Impact of COVID-19 on tourism-specific industries and associated impacts on other industries”, “Diversifying garden tourism offer in Estonia and Latvia/Garden Pearls”, “Business and Wellness from Green Economy Growth”).
She is a lecturer of service design and management, great admirer and user of method called graphic facilitation and big fan of flora and fauna.
