Marina Tzakosta is a professor of Language Development and Pedagogy of the Preschool Child at the university of Crete. Her research expands to the development of first and second languages, language disorders and language variations. Professor Tzakosta is a member of various scientific committees, she actively participates in international research group activities and international projects. She has participated in more than 100 international conference and has published her work in edited volumes, journals and conference proceedings. Extensive teaching and practical experience both in Greece and in other foreign countries has shaped a modern approach to children’s education and its requirements at the European and global level.
