Junior researcher at the Centre for Generic Language Research, Institute of the Lithuanian Language, PhD student, lecturer at Language and Culture Institute LINGUA LITUANICA.
Research interests: neology, word formation, stylistics, internet linguistics, teaching Lithuanian as a foreign language.
The main focus is on the research of the new lexis of the Lithuanian language (a dissertation “The Dictionary of New Words of the Lithuanian Language (2011-2019 based on the New Word Database)” has been prepared). Together with Dr Rita Miliunaite, the compiler of the new word database, the online “New Words of the Lithuanian Language” is being compiled (it is regularly updated).
In 2019, she received a scholarship from the Lithuanian Research Council for academic achievements.
