The collaborative, sustainable fashion collection “We Were Children…” was created by the second year students – Emilija Bertašiūtė, Dovilė Deveikytė, Rugilė Kaikarytė, Samanta Skromovaitė, Fausta Skudryte, Monika Teišerskytė and Gabija Žymančiūtė, of the Fashion Design Study Programme of the Academy of Arts of the Faculty of Arts and Education of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution while studying the courses Clothing Design and Construction and Sewing.

This sustainable fashion collection, created by repurposing old and unwearable clothes, takes back to childhood days, when the most important thing was to spend time in the backyard with friends, to watch cartoons instead of doing homework, and to be a child looking into the world with big, curious eyes. Each of us should not forget our little selves because we are still children with significant and colourful dreams who grew up into wonderful adults.

Authors of the collection “We Were Children…”: Emilija Bertašiūtė, Dovilė Deveikytė, Rugilė Kaikarytė, Samanta Skromovaitė, Fausta Skudrytė, Monika Teišerskytė, Gabija Žymančiūtė
