Zdenka Steblovnik Župan
Holds a university degree in wood technology from Ljubljana University and a specialisation in educational management from University of Primorska, Slovene headmaster´s licence and »train the trainers« licence from Durham University Business School/GB. Former headmistress of Higher Vocational College at Wood Technology School Maribor (since its beginning in 2000 till 2014), currently teaching organisational subjects and lecturing Production management and Entrepreneurship at a vocational college. Former president of Association of Higher Vocational Colleges of R Slovenia and vice-president of Slovene Woodworking Association. Former member of HE Council of R Slovenia, former member of Board of EURASHE and co-leader of the EURASHE groups on National Qualifications Frameworks (NQF) & Student-centred learning (SCL). Keynote speaker and moderator at various international conferences and seminars in Europe, involved in numerous educational / research projects from institutional to national and EU level. Still actively involved in external quality evaluation processes in HE as a registered expert for Quality Assurance within Slovene National Agency for QAHE.
