Personal Exhibition “Where Light is Born” of Object Art Study Programme Student Daiva Kupstienė Accompanying the International, Interdisciplinary Scientific Students‘ Conference “Forum of Ideas 2026”
“Where Light Is Born” is the eighth solo exhibition of stained glass and painting artist Daiva Kupstienė, revealing the artist’s multifaceted talent, creative explorations, and her desire to understand the world more deeply – perhaps through light, color, and their transformations.
D. Kupstienė is a participant in international and national exhibitions and a curator of international plein-air events in Lithuania and abroad. She is currently deepening her knowledge at the Academy of Arts of the Faculty of Arts and Education of the Kauno kolegija HEI, studying in the Object Art study program.
So where is light born? Is it within a person when he strives for goodness, or outside, when he sees and, is filled with wonder, realizing he is surrounded by goodness, remarkable colors, and light? Or perhaps when both merge and unite?
In any case, we see the multifaceted world of D. Kupstienė – full of color and light, reflection and concentration. It is evident that the artist does not distance herself from the external world or history but respectfully reflects on its’ events, while also revealing her individuality and her own search for light.
